Harmondsworth IRC
Harmondsworth Immigration Removal Centre is adjacent to Heathrow Airport and opened in 2001. It is a closed facility which provides accommodation, healthcare, education and recreational activities for up to 259 men detained by the UK Border Agency who are awaiting removal from the UK.

By road: the centre is situated on the A4 Bath Road at Colnbrook, alongside Waterpark at the eastern end of Heathrow Airport perimeter fence. Harmondsworth is 2 miles from junction 4A off the M4. There is limited parking for visitors.
By train: the nearest mainline station is West Drayton which is on the First Great Western network. Alteratively you can take the Heathrow Express from Paddington Station in west London or the Piccadily line on London Underground to Heathrow where you will need to take a taxi for the remaining short distance to the centre.
By bus: take the U3 from Heathrow Airport
