Kalyx- Promoting Equality and respecting Human Rights
Kalyx carried out an independent Equality and Diversity Review of our performance which reported in December 2007. The Review involved wide ranging consultation with service users, staff and managers on their experiences of Equality & Diversity within Kalyx and gathered suggestions for future improvements.
We have developed a strategy that is central to our desire to lead standards in the industry. We provide custody with care for male and female prisoners, young offenders, detainees, asylum seekers and residents; we train and educate offenders for resettlement and provide opportunities for their rehabilitation on release from jail.

Kalyx aims to move beyond the letter of the law & embrace the spirit of equality and inclusion in everything we do. We want to achieve Equality and Inclusion in the way we treat our staff, prisoners, detainees, residents, visitors, suppliers and partners.
